Jeff Gayduk founded Premier Tourism Marketing in 1999

In 1999, I was in a position like many of you are today.  I was working for a travel company, trying to increase my group sales.  I recognized that the group travel industry was rapidly changing, yet wasn’t being properly addressed by conventional group travel publications.

I founded Premier Tourism Marketing under the preface that advertising is an investment, not a donation. You advertise to get leads – leads that convert into sales.

I started out of my spare bedroom with a small magazine.  Like anything people favor, word spread fast about our upstart publication.  People began to take notice. The magazine quickly gained in popularity  which opened up new avenues and markets.

From that foundation, the vision of a new group travel industry has evolved. Niche & affinity groups have ushered in a fresh way to travel, creating exciting opportunities for destinations and suppliers eager to adapt to changing times.

Premier Tourism Marketing now includes seven print publications (Leisure Group Travel Magazine, The Student Travel Planning Guide, The Sport Planning Guide and Directory, The Group Travel Directory, The Reunions Workbook, The Religious Travel Planning Guide and Midwest Skier Magazine), ten websites and directories (see footer) and six e-newsletters. We are the trusted resource to deliver the “who, what, where, when, why and how” on all facets of the group travel industry.  I’m proud to say that we reach more group buyers than all our market competitors.
