Religious Group Travel
Your Connection to the $18-billion Faith-Based Travel Market
While some would have you believe that faith-based travel is relatively new on the scene, travelers have been partaking in pilgrimages since the beginning of time. These trips to validate faith have, over the centuries evolved into a unique marketplace with unique needs. And while pilgrimage travel is still a core component to this marketplace, there’s a growing population of churches and other religious organizations using travel as a fundraiser and community builder.

Custom solutions for reaching the $18-billion faith travel market
Our commitment to the religious travel marketplace started in 2002 when we saw an increasing number of churches requesting subscriptions to our flagship magazine, Leisure Group Travel. As churches saw an influx of parishioners coming back to church after 9/11, they were seeking avenues to keep them active in church activities. Smart churches developed travel ministries to cater to parishioners eager to explore the world with like-minded community members.
From these beginnings, our core religious market circulation in Leisure Group Travel includes over 3,000 faith-based groups, with three new products on the scene in the last two years – Religious Travel Directory, InSite on Religious Travel e-zine and, brand new for 2011, Religious Travel Planning Guide.
