The premier resource for tournament planners, rights holders and governing bodies is launching new Destination Videos in 2018.
Increasingly, video is driving purchase behavior. Fifty five percent of consumers watch online video daily, and 4 in 5 consider demo videos helpful when making purchase decisions.
Starting in January 2018, Sports Planning Guide (SPG) will be featuring videos across its platform. A new Destination Videos landing page will include up to 100 top sports destinations across North America. The page will feature flyover drone videos of unique sports venues and destination promotional videos, both desktop and mobile-friendly.
According to publisher Jeff Gayduk, “There’s a substantial uptick in consumer preference for viewing video online. Matching that up with our destination advertisers makes perfect sense, thus giving them a new platform to promote their sports facilities in a new and exciting way. The end result is that we’ll provide better tools for decision- making when our tournament and event planners evaluate destinations and facilities.”
In addition to the Destinations Video landing page, clients of SPG can now embed video within their Site InSpection content marketing page at no additional cost. A variety of promotional packages will also be available providing additional exposure, including on-site geo-targeting, e-newsletter and social media promotion.
