[Willowbrook,  IL June 12, 2023] – Destination Film Guide, the premier magazine and website showcasing remarkable filming locations around the North America, is thrilled to announce two pivotal distribution partnerships in preparation for the launch of its highly anticipated 3rd annual guide. These collaborations will significantly expand the magazine’s reach and accessibility, opening up new avenues for foreign filmmakers and VIPs within the film industry.

The first alliance is with the U.S. Commercial Services, an esteemed organization overseeing more than 40 overseas offices dedicated to promoting trade partnerships in foreign countries. As part of the partnership, Destination Film Guide will become an invaluable resource for U.S. Commercial Service offices as they communicate with international filmmakers who seek comprehensive information and insights on filming in the United States. The magazine’s extensive coverage of breathtaking locations, production facilities, tax incentives, and regional film commissions will now be readily accessible to foreign filmmakers, fostering greater collaboration and encouraging them to choose the United States as their preferred filming destination.

“We are excited about our partnership with the U.S. Commercial Services,” said Jonathan Elkoubi,  Director of Strategic Partnership at Destination Film Guide. “By providing foreign filmmakers with in-depth knowledge and inspiration, we aim to facilitate their filmmaking journey in the United States. Our goal is to enhance cross-cultural exchanges within the film industry and showcase the diverse beauty and versatility of American locations.”

Now Premiering at Film Festivals…DFG

In addition to the collaboration with the U.S. Commercial Services, Destination Film Guide is proud to announce a new distribution platform at prestigious film festivals across North America. This initiative will include over a dozen film festivals starting with the Indy Shorts International Film Festival this July. Indy Shorts is produced by the Heartland Film Festival and is an Academy Award® qualifying film festival.

By placing the magazine directly in the hands of influential executives and up-and-coming producers, Destination Film Guide will strengthen its position as a trusted resource and a go-to guide for filmmakers seeking exceptional filming destinations.

“We are delighted to collaborate with film festivals and it’s a natural fit for this showcase product,” stated Jeff Gayduk, publisher. “This allows us to connect directly with industry professionals, providing them with valuable insights and inspiration for their future projects. By showcasing our magazine to key figures within the film community, we hope to promote the discovery of unique and captivating filming locations across the North American landscape.”

. The forthcoming 3rd annual guide promises to be a compelling source of information, guiding filmmakers on their journey to finding extraordinary locations for their next productions.
